WAZA Welcomes New Member-Jimmy's Farm & Wildlife Park

The World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) is pleased to welcome a new Institution Member to the global zoo and aquarium community – Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park, based in the United Kingdom.

Founded in 2002, Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park is home to 34 species of invertebrates, 29 species of mammals, 14 species of birds and 11 species of reptiles. 

WAZA CEO, Dr Martín Zordan said, ‘WAZA is pleased to welcome Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park as a new member. The institution has grown over the past few years to become an award-winning zoo, dedicated to ensuring every animal and team member are given care, consideration, and the space to thrive.’

Park Director, Stevie Sheppard said, ‘I am honoured that Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park are now members of WAZA, joining a community of leading zoos and aquariums across the world. It is important to contribute to conservation; working to stop species decline on a global level.’

Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park is a member of the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA), the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as well as Species360.
