WAZA Welcomes New Member - Rewild Safaris

The World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) is pleased to welcome Rewild Safaris, in the US, as a new corporate member.
Rewild Safaris designs wildlife journeys that both inspire travellers and support global conservation. By partnering with leading zoos, aquariums, museums and conservation organisations, they create travel experiences tailored specifically for institutional stakeholders and donors.
WAZA CEO Dr Martín Zordan said, “Rewild Safaris’ commitment to strengthening collaborations with zoos and aquariums worldwide, supporting in-situ conservation, and advancing biodiversity protection aligns closely with WAZA’s mission and goals. We are pleased to welcome them to our global community and look forward to collaborating.”
Each itinerary supports local initiatives such as rhino relocations in Zimbabwe, marine protection in Indonesia, and community projects in Madagascar. These experiences allow travellers to witness and contribute directly to preservation efforts while engaging with communities and ecosystems in a respectful and ethical way.
