WAZA Welcomes New Member– CS the Critter Saver

The World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) is pleased to welcome a new Corporate Member to the global zoo and aquarium community – CS the Critter Saver, based in the United States of America.

Founded in 2017, CS the Critter Saver works in partnership with zoos, aquariums, wildlife conservation centres, and more, to inspire the next generation of conservation leaders with online and in-person Courses, Coaching, and Conservation Clubs.

WAZA CEO, Dr Martín Zordan said, ‘WAZA is very pleased to welcome CS the Critter Saver as a new member. Their emphasis on conservation education and empowering the younger generation is crucial in raising awareness about the biodiversity crisis and making them allies in our endeavour to halt biodiversity decline.’

Founder and Director, CS Wurzberger said, ‘Ever since I discovered the plight of the Dodo Birds when I was 10 years old, I knew my life’s mission was to inspire people to care for the Earth and its animals. I am so proud and honoured to be a new corporate member of WAZA. Together, let’s make an impact and help grow the next generation of conservation leaders!’

CS the Critter Saver is a member of the International Zoo Educators Association (IZE) as well as the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA)
