The UIZA National Conference 2025 will take place from 9 to 11 October in the historic centre of Assisi, Italy.

This three-day meeting will bring together researchers, educators, biologists, veterinarians, academics and professionals to discuss the challenges and opportunities of safeguarding biodiversity.

Speakers from Italy and abroad will share conservation projects carried out by zoos, aquariums and bioparks, highlighting how science can support conservation while engaging and educating the public.

The conference aims to inspire hope and practical action for species at risk and to strengthen collaboration across the conservation community.
