EAZA Conservation Forum 2026
Date: 19 – 22 May 2026
Taunus, Germany
EAZA Conservation Forum 2026, hosted by Opel-Zoo in Kronberg during the zoo’s 70th anniversary year, will celebrate the role of conservation at the heart of modern zoological institutions.
The forum will bring together zoo and aquarium professionals alongside the wider conservation community to exchange knowledge, share experiences and strengthen collaboration.
Through a programme shaped by submitted abstracts and invited speakers, discussions will focus on delivering impactful conservation, including themes such as inclusive conservation in practice, collaborative approaches for greater impact, and connecting policy with practical action across Europe.
The World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) is the global alliance of regional associations, national federations, zoos and aquariums, dedicated to the care and conservation of animals and their habitats around the world.
