CAZA Annual Conference

Date: 14 – 18 September 2026
Saint-Félicien, Canada

The CAZA Annual Conference 2026 will bring together Canada’s zoo and aquarium community in Québec from 14 to 18 September for a gathering focused on connection, learning and collaboration.

Under the theme ‘Shared Vision, Nordic Heart’, the conference will offer a collective reflection on the future of animal welfare and biodiversity, grounded in Québec’s unique northern landscape and strong sense of local identity.

Participants will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge, celebrate achievements and explore new approaches to animal care, conservation and education, while engaging with a community shaped by collaboration, nature and innovation.

The World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) is the global alliance of regional associations, national federations, zoos and aquariums, dedicated to the care and conservation of animals and their habitats around the world.
