Action Indonesia Day will take place on 9 August 2026 as a global, coordinated awareness initiative focused on conservation in Indonesia.

Institutions around the world are invited to take part in a shared effort to highlight Indonesian biodiversity and support conservation messaging.

Aligned with the One Plan approach of Global Species Management Plans, Action Indonesia connects ex situ and in situ efforts for species such as anoa, babirusa, banteng and Sumatran tiger, combining conservation breeding, education and field-based conservation.
