33rd SEAZA Conference
Date: 16 – 20 November 2025
Mandai Wildlife Reserve, Singapore
The 33rd SEAZA Conference will be held at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, Singapore, from 16 to 20 November 2025.
The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Building Capacity for the Future, Protecting Wildlife Together’, presenting an opportunity for zoo professionals and conservation leaders to come together, share ideas and ignite transformative conversations.
In line with global zoo community priorities, this conference will focus on strengthening the collective capacity for effective species protection and improving animal welfare and care in zoos. While immediate actions are crucial, we must also look toward the future – building tools, strategies, and collaborations to ensure sustained conservation and animal welfare outcomes. Together, we will explore practical approaches for zoos to enhance animal welfare in our care and increase our impact and effectiveness in wildlife conservation for years to come.
The World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) is the global alliance of regional associations, national federations, zoos and aquariums, dedicated to the care and conservation of animals and their habitats around the world.
