The 2026 German Zoo Association Seminar (DTG Seminar 2026) will take place from 23 to 25 September in Hof.

Under the theme ‘Safety in Modern Zoo Operations’, the seminar will focus on the increasing challenges faced by modern zoological institutions in preparing for and responding to crises. The programme will explore practical approaches to resilience and crisis management, including handling public criticism, visitor fluctuations and extreme incidents such as accidents, security breaches or sabotage.
