Founded in New Delhi, India in 1992 by Architect Pankaj Jain, Jain and Associates is a leading landscape architecture practice with over three decades of dedicated expertise in zoological design. What began as a specialised studio has evolved into one of India’s foremost consultancies in the field, shaping the future of zoos, safaris, and wildlife habitats across the country.
The firm has successfully delivered more than 100 projects pan-India, establishing a reputation for design excellence in Zoological and Safari Design. We are currently engaged on over 15 zoo projects nationwide, including India’s flagship Zoological Park in Himachal Pradesh which has achieved the IGBC Platinum rating – the highest benchmark for sustainability in the built environment.
Our strength lies in our integrated, multidisciplinary team, which brings together zoo designers, animal biologists, horticulturists, veterinary experts, architects, engineers, and sustainability consultants. This collaborative approach allows us to offer comprehensive Zoo Design Consultancy services from initial concept development and master planning through to detailed construction drawings and on-site implementation support.
