Under the direction of the Veterinary Manager, this position plays a leading role in the provision of veterinary care to Perth Zoo animals as well as wildlife in line with the zoo’s established priorities and objectives.

The position works collaboratively with the Veterinary Manager, other Veterinary staff and Veterinary Nurses, to provide high quality medical care to animal patients, training for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and participates in scientific research.

Salary: $111,533 – $122,969 p.a. (Specified Calling Level 3) plus 10.5% Superannuation

Tenure: Permanent, Full-time

Conditions of Employment

The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current (issue date not older than 6 months) and satisfactory National Police Check and undertake a pre-employment medical and Zoonosis vaccination program prior to commencement.
