Do you want to become part of our team? We are looking for a Curator Exotarium (full-time) for immediate start or as agreed. As curator you will be responsible for the professional and personnel management of our Exotarium. As curator you are the contact person for all external and internal stakeholders (e.g. our research or communication department)
Participation in association work (e.g.: EEPs / TAGs) as well as talks at universities and involvement in animal care are also part of your responsibilities
What you bring to the table:

Several years of experience in aquaristics and terraristics
Experience in bird keeping an advantage
Proven management experience
Ability to work in a team, high customer orientation
Interest in participating in research projects
Knowledge of plant care and habitat enrichment.
Business management thinking and handling

What we can offer:
Reporting directly to the Head of Species Conservation & Animals, an exciting challenge with many responsibilities. In the future, their department will focus on the breeding, research and presentation of highly endangered and under-researched species. For this purpose, in addition to the classic aquariums and terrariums, state-of-the-art, climate-controlled breeding compartments will also be available from 2024, thus providing the most modern conditions for contributing to species conservation.
