FROG Oddities & Trivia

A Journey Through the Rapidly Shrinking World of Amphibians
(While There is Still Time to Save Them)

A Cartoon Book by Ripley's, Believe It or Not!, 107 pages

Believe it! Extinction is forever and unless we do something quickly, many of our amphibian friends won't be around much longer. Scientists believe that at least 500 of the 6000 known species of amphibians tat roam, hop and wiglle around the world today will become extinct within the next 10 years!

The global conservation community has named 2008 "The Year of the Frog" as a means of building public awareness of the wide and interesting diversity of amphibians and of the crisis they face.

The publications of this book is Ripley's Aquariums contribution to that effort. Frog Oddities is a fun and easy way to learn to appreciate the frogs, newts and salamanders with whom we share the earth. More importantly, it sheds light on how sad the world would be without them.
All proceeds from the sale of these books will go to one of several amphibian conservation funds.
