Committee for Population Management
The overall aim of the Committee for Population Management is to secure viable populations of wild animals in zoos and aquariums, through sustainable population management and species conservation at a global scale.
The Committee for Population Management is established to advance relationships and collaborations in managing species in zoos and aquariums globally. The Committee coordinates and administers the International Studbook (ISB) Programme and Global Species Management Plans (GSMPs).
